Description of problem:
There is a conflict betwen packages using yum installation.
Error message:

package qt-x11-1:4.4.3-15.fc10.x86_64 (which is newer than qt-x11-1:4.4.3-10.fc10.i386) is already installed
  file /etc/rpm/macros.qt4 from install of qt-x11-1:4.4.3-10.fc10.i386 conflicts with file from package qt-x11-1:4.4.3-15.fc10.x86_64

Objective not reached: Install/use skype.

How reproducible:
yum update
yum install qt-x11.I386
yum localinstall skype-2.0.0.72-fc5.i586.rpm

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install package qt-x11.i386

Actual results:
Conflict between packages

Expected results:
Keep running skype.

Additional info:
All was running smooth until I installed qt-x11-1:4.4.3-15.fc10.x86_64.
Skype needs qt-x11.i386.

Re-assigning to Fedora QT4.  This is not EPEL related.

your upgrade is kinda broken... yum should be upgrading qt.i386 qt.x86_64 to the same version ( 4.4.3-10 vs 4.4.3-15 here).

(If you happen to be using kde-redhat repos, that may explain it... that repo deliberately not multilib'd).

Thank you Rex Dieter, Problem solved.   You are the guy.  All is installed and working well.   I'm Sorry, I didn't know that that repo were deliberately not multilib'd.  I got back to the original kde.repo.  Removed qt-x11.x86_64, installed qt-x11.i386, installed qt-x11.x86_64, and installed skype.  Two packages are still in yellow state "qt.x86_64 and qt-mysql.x86_64".
