Description of problem:
'Send/Receive' button doesn't work in Evolution after some operations.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
1. evolution-1.4.5-25.el3.i386.rpm(en_US) 
   on stable machine: RHEL-3 i386-3as.lab.bos.redhat.com
2. evolution-1.4.5-25.el3.x86-64.rpm(zh_CN)
   on stable machine: RHEL-3 x86-64-3as.lab.bos.redhat.com

How reproducible:
For both i386 and x86-64, at first, 'send/receive' button works normally.
After operating Evolution about 3 hours, 'send/receive' button became can not work.

Steps to Reproduce:
This bug happens suddenly when I was testing it when 'Send/receive' button works normally.
I can not find the steps to reproduce it.
Before this bug appear, I did some operations about 'send/receive mail','new/edit/delete calendar','new/delete task' and so on.

To solve this bug, I re-installed evolution-1.4.5-25.el3.rpm on  stable machine: RHEL-3 i386-3as.lab.bos.redhat.com, but 'Send/Receive' button still can not work.

Actual results:
When click 'Send/receive' button, nothing happened. No mails are sent/received.

Expected results:
When click 'Send/receive' button, send/receive dialogue pops up and show the progress of sending/receiving mails. Related mails are sent or received.

We're well past the point of fixing bugs in RHEL 3.  Security issues only.
