Description Charlie Wyse 2009-03-19 23:53:29 UTC
Currently you must manually configure your grid to allow for the use of the virtual machine universe. Since condor_remote_configuration has so many other advance features for configuring condor, it should include the ability to setup condor for virtualization.

Comment 1 Robert Rati 2009-09-17 20:10:06 UTC
A new feature called vmuni has been added for configuration of the VM universe. This supports configuring xen and kvm VMs, but requires that the startd be restarted (not just reconfigured) after configuration has been applied. This must be done manually, as the remote-configuration tool will cause a reconfiguration event, but not a restart event.

Added in:
condor-remote-configuration-1.0-17

Comment 2 Luigi Toscano 2009-10-22 15:31:24 UTC
The functionality has been added and it works. Verified on RHEL 5.4 i386/x86_64 on:
condor-remote-configuration-1.0-22.el5
condor-remote-configuration-server-1.0-22.el5

Changing the state to VERIFIED.
