Update: no such problem when I boot live cd into runlevel 3 (text console) and start X with startx command. Same video is playing as expected. Not sure it's nouveau problem after all. I'm going to set this as needinfo (reporter), then, until you can be sure what exactly the issue is - try testing with nv or proprietary driver? try different test videos? check Xorg.0.log and xsession-errors? check with a different video player app? -- Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers any update here?
