Description Daniel Walsh 2009-03-30 19:50:44 UTC
Description of problem:

The following executables can be executed on behalf of users and will currently run as an unconfined process by dbus.

They need to have policy written to confine them.

/usr/libexec/fprintd	system_u:object_r:bin_t:s0
/usr/libexec/pk-backend-apt.py	system_u:object_r:bin_t:s0
/usr/bin/cpufreq-selector	system_u:object_r:bin_t:s0
/usr/libexec/gconf-defaults-mechanism	system_u:object_r:bin_t:s0
/usr/libexec/gnome-system-monitor-mechanism	system_u:object_r:bin_t:s0

Comment 1 Daniel Walsh 2009-05-01 17:49:36 UTC
I have added policy for fprintd
/usr/libexec/pk-backend-apt.py system_u:object_r:bin_t:s0 is gone
/usr/bin/cpufreq-selector	system_u:object_r:cpufreqselector_exec_t:s0
/usr/libexec/gconf-defaults-mechanism	system_u:object_r:gconfdefaultsm_exec_t:s0

Fixed in selinux-policy-3.6.12-27.fc11.noarch

Now we need to look for more.
