Description of Problem:
This was on beta hardware #28 which has only scsi disks and is smp.

After selecting pre-existing partition(s) to install /, clicking next
produced a traceback.

How Reproducible:
every time with gui install on this system

Steps to Reproduce:

This defect considered MUST-FIX for Fairfax gold-release.

BTW, I sucessfully installed beta2 via a text install.

Fixed in internal trees.  If you could try again when beta3 comes out, that
would be great
