Description vfiend 2009-04-04 01:08:18 UTC
Description of problem: When ticking 'hide subpackages' in gpk-application and searching for openoffice, only openoffice.org-base (the database application) is displayed. Writer/calc/etc are hidden.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.4.5

Comment 1 Richard Hughes 2009-04-06 10:20:02 UTC
Sure, that's how it's supposed to work. All the openoffice packages are created from one srpm, and where there's not a clear obvious "winner", PackageKit chooses the first entry in the list.

Fair enough, it's not the most intuitive behaviour as a user but it's obviously the best that can be done. Thanks for the response.
