Description Lon Hohberger 2009-04-24 21:12:57 UTC
Description of problem:

sosreport mangles fencing passwords in /etc/cluster/cluster.conf for security, which is fine, however it breaks XML at the same time, requiring manual editing before tests can be run on cluster.conf.

It changes:

  passwd="abcdef"

to:

  passwd=***

... when it should be:

  passwd="***"

Furthermore, it doesn't change passwords in the backup files (for example, /etc/cluster/cluster.conf.1), making the mangling useless in some cases. (The backup files are very useful; please don't remove them =) )
