Description Nickolas Fotopoulos 2009-05-14 16:38:00 UTC
The LIGO scientific collaboration uses numpy in several of its analyses and uses CentOS 5.3 as a reference platform. Unfortunately, the latest version of numpy in EPEL5, numpy 1.0.4, has a bug in its histogram() function (a Python 2.5-ism) that affects us in several places. In our testing, a version bump to 1.1.0 or 1.2.1 would eliminate our problems. It would be helpful to us if the package maintainer could upgrade the version. Thanks in advance.

Built 1.2.1 for EL-5, will be in testing probably tomorrow, and stable at the next stable push. Not sure exactly when that is.

Thanks!
