Octave is higly educational software, and therefore should be listed under "Educational" and not "Other" Group (Gnome Main Menu).

The desktop file categories for octave should be:

Education, Science, DataVisualization and NumericalAnalysis and maybe also Math, Physics and Engineering

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 11 development cycle.
Changing version to '11'.

Still present in rawhide and will be fixed in rawhide. Will push to stable only if something more important comes up. Till then pushing for rawhide.
