Are you using NetworkManager? Then assign to NetworkManager... Or did you disable NetworkManager and use the network server + system-config-network Yes I'm using Network manager, I've tried changeing drivers with ndiswrapper to a 64bit driver, didn't work.. tried setting up manually .mac address,ip,netmask, gateway,DNS.everything with router settings. Tried shutting off WEP in router, nothing changed..I have duel boot on this machine with XP Pro..and no problems there solid connections,LG downloads and uploads with no breaks in service..When I check driver it appears the same in both operating sys's...I can't understand the problem...? on the plus side I'm learning more about this OP system then I thought I would a month ago.. Can you please provide your /var/log/messages after you try to connect to your AP and also the PCI id from your wireless card (lspci -nn | grep Net). Maybe you need to copy it to /tmp or something else and change the permission, since only root has the right to read them. -- Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 428571 *** |
