Description Máirín Duffy 2009-06-02 19:17:00 UTC
Description of problem:

package:
scribus-1.3.5-0.12.beta.fc10.x86_64

ok/cancel buttons in scribus are reversed for GNOME users. this obviously causes a lot of grief and usability problems.

In particular, we tested configuring qt/kde to use the GTK+ style, which is supposed to make (qt/kde) apps use gtk button ordering.

But, it seems that scribus neither respected the style or the order (maybe using it's own custom widgets?).

Scribus uses manual layout for their UI including buttons and it makes the Scribus UI consistent across all platforms. If you think it's a real issue, please open an upstream bug.
