Description of problem:
Using Alt-Tab switch with "Present Windows" plugin does not select previously focused window initially.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Enable Desktop Effects
2.Enable Present Windows plugin
3.In Present Windows configuration, enable "Use for window switching"
3.Use Alt-Tab to switch windows
  
Actual results:
One window is consistently positioned first when using alt-tab. The order in which windows are selected depends on where windows are layed out on the screen screen when using alt-tab, but sometimes windows are reordered based on size, and selection jumps around with successive alt-tabs.

Expected results:
The previous window used should be the first selected when alt-tab is pressed, as in other window switchers.

Since this bugzilla report was filed, there have been several major updates in various components of the Xorg system, which may have resolved this issue. Users who have experienced this problem are encouraged to upgrade their system to the latest version of their packages. For packages from updates-testing repository you can use command

yum upgrade --enablerepo='*-updates-testing'

Alternatively, you can also try to test whether this bug is reproducible with the upcoming Fedora 12 distribution by downloading LiveMedia of F12 Beta available at http://alt.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/nightly-composes/ . By using that you get all the latest packages without need to install anything on your computer. For more information on using LiveMedia take a look at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraLiveCD .

Drew, firstly, have you upgraded all of your components and/or the whole distribution to Fedora 12, and if so, is this but still reproducable?

Thanks, Chris and Adel. I have updated to Fedora 12. The bug is no longer reproducible.
