photo of textmode

Description of problem:
I have a MacBook of early 2006. And modesetting does not work well yet. Xorg does not work see bug #505536.

But there is a small but distracting problem in textmode too. If I do not pass the nomodeset kernelparameter the last line of the screen is blinking in randomly patterns. The blincking is synchronized with the text insert position marker.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
[root@macbook fm]# uname -a
Linux macbook 2.6.29.4-167.fc11.i586 #1 SMP Wed May 27 17:14:37 EDT 2009 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

How reproducible:
allways

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot with modeset enabled and pass a "3" for textmode
2. look at the bottom of the screen (sorry for the bad quality of the photo, it is just to make the issue clearer)

Actual results:
last line of pixels blinking

Expected results:
not blincking

I do not have this anymore. So cannot test.
