Description john.haxby@oracle.com 2009-06-17 18:21:40 UTC
Description of problem:

If you try to set the tab stop in preferences to something other than "1" or "4" (let's say "8", the normal one) you can't. It reverts to "1".

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.2.1-3

How reproducible: Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start meld
2. Go to edit/preferences
3. Attempt to set the tab width to "8"

Actual results:
Tab width apparenty set, but if you close the preferences window and re-open it you'll see that it's gone back to "1". Moreover, ~/.gconf/apps/meld says that it's "1" and even if you change that it gets reset to 1.

Expected results: Should be able to set the tab width.

Additional info:
This is also reported upstream and fixed in 1.3. Upgrading to 1.3 will also fix this bug!
