Description Alex Butcher 2009-06-22 19:35:04 UTC
Description of problem:

Yelp doesn't show any manual pages for section 2 (system calls).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

yelp-2.26.0-3.fc11.x86_64

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start yelp from either the command line or the System menu
2. Click 'Manual Pages'
3. Explore list of sections and find no section 2 man pages.

Actual results:

Applications (Sections 1, 1p, 1g and 1t)
Configuration Files (5)
Development (3, 3o, 3t)
Games (6)
Hardware Devices (4)
Overviews (7, 7gcc)
System Administration (8, 8l)

Expected results:

Section 2 included (New section named 'system calls'? Part of Development?)

Indeed, this looks to be intentional judging from the XML layout of the Manual Pages section:
http://git.gnome.org/cgit/yelp/tree/data/man.xml.in

Forwarding this upstream nonetheless, though I expect the developers will not consider it a bug.
