This bug has been copied from bug #487214 and has been proposed
to be backported to 5.2 z-stream (EUS).

I was able to upgrade a 3 node cluster from 5.2 GA to this package.  Cluster remained quorate, one one at a time was upgraded and re-joined the cluster.
