I'm having the same problem, but without the segfault:

ERROR: couldn't create the window, exiting...
I can't even get far enough to post the output from terminal. When I launch elisa from the Gnome Menu or from terminal, it opens and sometimes says "Scanning Music Files" or something like that. Then elisa totally hangs my machine. Even the magic SysRq keys don't work to shut down the system. I have to do a hard reset by holding down the power button for some seconds. I do not see anything relevant in the log files. This message is a reminder that Fedora 11 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 11. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '11'.
