------- Comment From nfont.com 2009-09-21 12:08 EDT------- The latest version of powerpc-utils (v1.2.1) is available at powerpc-utils.sourceforge.net, or you can download a tarball directly at http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/powerpc-utils/powerpc-utils-1.2.1.tar.gz. @IBM We need to confirm that there is commitment to test for the resolution of this request during the RHEL 5.5 Test Phase, if it is accepted into the release. RHEL 5.5 Beta Test Phase is expected to begin around February 2010. Please post a confirmation as soon as possible, including the contact information for testing engineers. IBM is signed up to test and provide feedback. IBM, is your proposed change also in upstream? I don't see it at http://powerpc-utils.ozlabs.org/ ------- Comment From brking.com 2009-10-27 12:20 EDT------- (In reply to comment #8) > IBM, is your proposed change also in upstream? I don't see it at > http://powerpc-utils.ozlabs.org/ The powerpc-utils package has moved to sourceforge. The updated package is available here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/powerpc-utils/ I see, thanks. This enhancement request was evaluated by the full Red Hat Enterprise Linux team for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux minor release. As a result of this evaluation, Red Hat has tentatively approved inclusion of this feature in the next Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update minor release. While it is a goal to include this enhancement in the next minor release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, the enhancement is not yet committed for inclusion in the next minor release pending the next phase of actual code integration and successful Red Hat and partner testing. Fixed in ppc64-utils-0.11-13.el5 Release note added. If any revisions are required, please set the "requires_release_notes" flag to "?" and edit the "Release Notes" field accordingly. All revisions will be proofread by the Engineering Content Services team. New Contents: This is pure future feature enhancement.
