Paul, ping? Are you alive?

Comment 2 Bug Zapper 2009-11-16 11:07:03 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle.
Changing version to '12'.

Paul, ping once more? Can you please show up here?

Comment 4 Till Maas 2010-01-27 10:44:24 UTC
Paul, it is half a year now and there is no response on this bug or bug 511310, please respond and/or orphan socat, if you do not have the time to maintain it anymore.

Since there have been several pings from Robert already, I will try to execute the fast track procedure:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Policy_for_nonresponsive_package_maintainers#Fast_Track_procedure

Comment 5 Paul Wouters 2010-01-29 17:13:13 UTC
Odd, I hadn't seen these before on "My bugzilla" page. Nor did I receive any emails regarding these. If it hadn't been for Steve emailing me these pointers, I'd still not have known. I'm active in fedora-devel and irc, please next time email me directly or ping me on irc before starting such a procedure? Thanks.

I will take care of the socat issues today.

Comment 6 Fedora Update System 2010-01-30 22:04:49 UTC
socat-1.7.1.2-1.el5 has been submitted as an update for Fedora EPEL 5.

Comment 7 Paul Wouters 2010-01-30 22:06:23 UTC
socat is not available in EL-4 and would require a new branch request. Though I am not running any EL-4 based systems anywhere, so i'd rather not do that.

Build for EL-5 has been fired of.
