Description Pete Zaitcev 2009-07-29 07:12:21 UTC
Description of problem:

After update, X fails to start. I have no clue why. See attached logs.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

kernel-2.6.31-0.94.rc4.fc12.x86_64
xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.6.99-18.20090724.fc12.x86_64
xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.12.2-19.fc12.1.x86_64

Additional info:

This may be kernel's fault. I'm assigning this to xorg-x11-drv-ati
so David Airlie would have a look. Maybe it's something obvious.

Since both kernel and X were updated, I need to experiment with
permutations before I can tell what component broke.

Oh for crying out loud, I confused myself by misreading the dmesg.
It's clearly a dup of bug 512757. Sorry.
