Description Todd 2009-07-30 22:47:28 UTC
Description of problem:
rawhide installer crashed with network manager error

boot rawhide installer using grub to load install images from 7-29-2009. I chose to install from url. The network is configured via dhcp and the install images is downloaded via http. Just after the installer starts, it crashes. A picture of my screen is attached. There is some additional text that scrolled off the screen.

The important part seems to be:

dbus.exceptions.DBusExocution: org.freedesktop.Hal.HoSuchDevice: No device with id /org/freedesktop/NetWorkManager/Devices/0

If I choose to install from the hard drive, I get a similar error.

I have a nvidia chipset that normally uses the forcedeth module
