Description Bill Nottingham 2009-08-05 17:12:31 UTC
Description of problem:

xulrunner-1.9.1.2-1 landed in today's rawhide.

No other XR dependent packages did.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess this will cause problems for alpha.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

1.9.1.2-1.fc12

Comment 1 Adam Williamson 2009-08-05 17:13:35 UTC
to be perfectly clear: this almost certainly breaks Firefox until it gets rebuilt for the new xulrunner.

For example, ""Could not find compatible GRE between version 1.9.1.1 and 1.9.1.1"

https://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng/ticket/2038 has been filed as a work around for F12 Alpha

Comment 5 Jesse Keating 2009-08-05 23:48:26 UTC
Hrm, this isn't modified. The tagging I just did will allow caillon to rebuild the rest of the deps, and he'll tag those as they go, but may not get all of them done tonight.

Comment 6 Christopher Aillon 2009-08-06 08:14:26 UTC
turns out the builds are failing due to a gcc bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=515700

Comment 7 Christopher Aillon 2009-08-06 08:17:16 UTC
Sorry, a strip bug. Might make sense to untag that if it's not fixed later today, so actual F12 builds can happen instead of pulling in f11 versions.

Comment 8 Jesse Keating 2009-08-06 22:23:39 UTC
It appears that the rebuilds have happened and have been tagged for F12 Alpha.
