Meaning, that it should be possible to set upgrade happening only when the system is being shut down (in the similar manner to what Windows does) to do upgrading in the time when it doesn't affect regular work (think slower computer, which doesn't handle well upgrading parallel with some other tasks). What would the UI look like in this case? I'm not sure shutting down is that common, especially for people where hibernate and suspend work correctly. I know I can go two or three weeks without shutting down. hibernate on my computer doesnt work becose nvidia-binary-drv *because (In reply to comment #3) > hibernate on my computer doesnt work becose nvidia-binary-drv That's a separate problem -- we shouldn't work around brokenness, but fix it. I think this is no important that can be when anything styl end system(restart, shutdown, hibernate) and set be by needs everyone This request would be better reported to the Packagekit upstream bugzilla at http://bugs.freedesktop.org. After reporting upstream please add upstream info to this report. -- Steven M. Parrish - KDE Triage Master - PackageKit Triager Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers Thanks for reporting this issue upstream. Going to close this in favor of the upstream RFE. -- Steven M. Parrish - KDE Triage Master - PackageKit Triager Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers |
