Description of problem:
When i try to connect to the internet it fails. Sometimes the modem does connect but networkmanager does not see that it has a connection.

On more recent attempts it can not connect at all.

How reproducible:

Always


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make a live USB
2. Plug in Modem
3. Go through wizzard
4. Click on the new connection
  
Actual results:

1. Shows two green lights but never changes the icon and no internet recognized. Even with a ping.

2. After awhile say that the connection is diconnected.

Expected results:

Connects to the internet.

Thanks for filling this bug. Can you please run the below command as root after your shut down NM:

NM_SERIAL_DEBUG=1 /usr/sbin/NetworkManager --no-daemon

And try to connect to your mobile network. Please attach this output as text/plain. Thank you.

In 12 beta, it is now connecting. But no signal strength.

Thanks for the info, signal strength will come a bit later if your modem supports it.
