Description of problem:
When installing gsl-devel on a current "rawhide" system an error message is issued:

  rpm -Uhv --force gsl-devel-1.12-5.fc12.i686.rpm
  Preparing...                ###################### [100%]
   1:gsl-devel              ###################### [100%]
  /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.Z5t6Ew: line 1: [: too many arguments


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gsl-devel-1.12-5.fc12.i686

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Execute 'rpm -Uhv --force gsl-devel-1.12-5.fc12.i686.rpm'.
  
Actual results:
Message "/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.Z5t6Ew: line 1: [: too many arguments" appears.

Expected results:
Package gsl-devel install without issues.

Additional info:
- System is an x86_64 system on which a couple of i686 packages are installed additionally.
- Installed packages include
  * rpm-4.7.1-3.fc12.x86_64
