Description Jonathan Kamens 2009-08-17 04:05:07 UTC
Every time I boot up, and occasionally at other times, udevd informs me, "specified group 'plugdev' unknown." This appears to be due to /etc/udev/rules.d/99-libftdi.rules, which comes from libftdi and contains this line:

SUBSYSTEM=="usb_device", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0403", ATTRS{idProduct}=="6010", MODE="0664", GROUP="plugdev"

I don't have a "plugdev" group on my system, nor can I find anything that would create such a group.

(Everything current from Rawhide.)
