Description Mads Kiilerich 2009-08-17 08:40:50 UTC
Description of problem:

The system-config-printer package has dependencies to many PackageKit packages. While PackageKit is nice it doesn't fit all uses - especially not applicances and live cds. The dependency to PackageKit should thus be made optional - obviously with some reduced functionality.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
system-config-printer-1.1.8-6.fc11.i586

Please try the test update:
  http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F11/FEDORA-2009-8108

su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update system-config-printer'

Wouw. That was fast! Nice time machine you've got there!

Yes, the system-config-printer-1.1.11-1.fc11.i586 update seems to solve this issue.

Thanks!
