Description of problem:
if nm-applet is killed wireless network goes down

How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1.start nm
2.connect to wireless network
3.kill nm-applet (killall nm-applet)
  
Actual results:
no network available

Expected results:
network still working

This is expected if the connection is a user-level connection provided by nm-applet.  To avoid this, and make the connection available to the system before anyone has logged in, check the "Available to all users" box in the connection editor for that connection to maek it a system connection.
