Sorry; accidentally hit Enter before I was ready to commit. Additional notes as follows: -- system performed as expected under Fedora 10 -- prior to upgrade to Fedora 11 (actually, a fresh install preserving the home directories), I changed the power-management settings to "never" go to sleep. Wonder if that setting somehow stuck? -- Thinkpad T60. Intel graphics. Does installing the latest gnome-power-manager package in updates-testing (and then rebooting...) fix the problem? The latest gnome-power-manager update appears to have fixed the problem! THANKS! Looks like gnome-power-manager still needs some work. I've posted updates at bug 356221. Let me know if I should file a new bug report. This message is a reminder that Fedora 11 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 11. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained.
