kickstart file that breaks anaconda none

Description michal novacek 2009-08-26 16:58:06 UTC
Created attachment 358740 [details]
kickstart file that breaks anaconda

Description of problem:
According to Fedora kickstart documentation here:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Anaconda/Kickstart#Chapter_3._Package_Selection
the content of the kickstart file attached should have correct syntax but
anaconda parser reports error on reading the closing %end in the %packages section. Removing the %end solves the problem.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhel5-Server-U3 netinst cd

How reproducible: allways

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot from install cd and add parameter (ks=...) for the attached kickstart file to be read by anaconda

Actual results: parse error, installation abort

Expected results: successfull unattended installation

The Fedora wiki URL refers to the absolute latest version of the kickstart syntax, not to the version shipped with any specific product. Please refer to the kickstart documentation in the relevant install guide or in the anaconda package itself.
