Description Levente Farkas 2009-09-08 14:00:14 UTC
as 5.4 contains xfs kernel support. it'd be useful to add xfs support to anaconda. i attach a patch which we use in 5.3 and 5.4 to add xfs support for anaconda and it's working.
thanks

anyway at the same time you can also add ext4 support which is also only similar 4 lines of changes.

This will be fixed in the next major release of RHEL, as well as currently fixed in Fedora/rawhide. We are unlikely to backport this fix to RHEL5 as xfs is not an officially supported filesystem in anaconda.
