Description Andrew Schultz 2009-09-13 05:01:25 UTC
Description of problem:
after starting up, audacious writes the line

tuple_get_int: assertion `tuple != NULL' failed

to its log file (~/.config/audacious/log) continuously. This thrashes the disk, the CPU, uses a boatload of diskspace if you don't realize what's happening and generally makes it difficult to use other apps while audacious is up.

This was reported to Ubuntu and they apparently fixed it in 2008 (sigh)
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/audacious/+bug/258797

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
audacious-1.5.1-9.fc11.i586

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start up audacious (perhaps this is somehow pref-dependent)

Actual results:
writes to log file continuously

Expected results:
not
