(In reply to comment #0) > Description of problem: > go to workspace switcher preferences dialog and try to disallow wheel movement > while it is allowed in Window Manager tweaks and vice versa .. It doesn't work! Works fine here. > Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Please be so kind as to fill out version and release. I'm not sure this bug is going to be closed any time soon and you don't expect us to know which release was, do you? > Steps to Reproduce: > 1.allow in window manager tweaks wheel workspace switching This is something different. This is switching with the wheel while you are pointing at the empty desktop but not at the workspace switcher. Turning this behavior on and off works fine here too. > 2.go into workspace panel applet preferences and uncheck it > 3.try to swicth workspaces via wheel > > Actual results: > cant allow switching using applet And this is just what I'm expecting. I disable the setting and scrolling on the applet no longer has an effect. > Expected results: > be able to chnge behaviour using applet and also change windows manager tweaks > option with applet settings > > Additional info: > it doesn't corespond to each other .. one setting can have "allow" and the > second "deny" and viceversa.. workspace switcher option is absolutely useless > as it does nothing! Sorry, I don't get what you are trying to tell us in the last two paragraphs. ok that's right .. but it is not so clear that those options do something else... window manager tweaks connects to switching over desktop switcher workspace applet connects to switching over applet only closing as NOTABUG |
