Description of problem:
nm-applet crashes with 
*** glibc detected *** nm-applet: double free or corruption (out): 0x104a50d0 *** error

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install 'GNOME Desktop Environment' group
2. start, for example, VNC session (vncserver :1)
3. connect to VNC session
4. try to start nm-applet, it crashes
  
Actual results:
nm-applet crashes

Expected results:
nm-applet runs fine

Additional info:
