Description John V. Kjellman 2009-10-02 15:31:48 UTC
Description of problem:

A yum update of lftp (lftp-3.7.11-4-el5.i386) on 9/27/09 overwrote the existing /etc/lftp.conf file, which caused lftp to no longer work as expected, as the updated file did not enable ssl connections. Looking at the new file, there seems to be no good reason for doing this, as the existing lftp.conf is fully compatible with the updated version of lftp.

Updates which break running systems are very annoying.
