Description Roderick Johnstone 2009-10-02 16:43:56 UTC
Description of problem:
okular prints single sided despite cups queue default being 2-sided, long-edge binding.

Okular/print/properties/advanced shows "General / 2-Sided Printing" set to "Long-edge Binding" which is correct.

Okular/print/Options/options-tab/Duplex printing shows "None" checked which is not correct.

The type of duplex can be controlled by checking the appropriate box in this tab, but the default is not right.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
okular 0.9.1 from kdegraphics-4.3.1-1.fc12.x86_64

How reproducible:
Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a pdf document in okular
2. Print it
3.

Actual results:
Job prints single sided

Expected results:
Job prints double sided, long-edge binding

Comment 1 Rex Dieter 2009-10-02 16:56:20 UTC
There are a fair number of upstream bugs filed on the topic of okular not respecting cups' or even it's own print options.

Comment 2 Steven M. Parrish 2009-10-04 14:56:42 UTC
Found an upstream bug in reference to this issue. I've cross referenced it to this report.

Can you note the kde BZ number please. There are so many okular bugs!
