gnome-settings-daemon is doing some sort of sit-and-spin, seems to be related to pulseaudio(?).

Actual Results:  
gnome-settings-daemon very busy

Expected Results:  
a well-behaved gnome-settings-daemon

The version number of gnome-settings-daemon would certainly have helped...
