Acutallly use recent NetworkManager bits none

Description Michel Lind 2009-10-08 02:44:44 UTC
Description of problem:
Liferea is currently built without any of its optional dependencies. From the F-12 x86_64 build log:

http://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/packages/liferea/1.6.0/0.fc12/data/logs/x86_64/build.log

Build libnotify Plugin.......... : no
Build LUA scripting Plugin ..... : no
Use X Session Management........ : no
Use DBUS........................ : no
Use NetworkManager.............. : no

It'd be nice to have these features enabled, especially the last three. These are the BRs required:

libnotify-devel
lua-devel
libSM-devel
dbus-devel
NetworkManager-devel

PS release number for stable versions should start at 1, not 0; ensuring that
if any prereleases were packaged as 0.x (x >= 1), the first stable release has a higher name-version-release combination

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
liferea-1.6.0-0.fc12

Perhaps rawhide should be on the current development version - 1.7.1
I've been using it locally without many issues. Few feeds had their items duplicated.
The NM patch would need an autoreconf.

Comment 3 Steven M. Parrish 2009-10-18 20:13:56 UTC
Since Liferea is a very popular app I prefer to keep it on the stable release.
