Description David Woodhouse 2009-10-08 18:21:40 UTC
This used to bring up the gmpc window; now it doesn't do anything.
I can't right-click on it to play/pause/etc either.

Perhaps this is relevant:
(gmpc:11718): libnotify-CRITICAL **: notify_notification_attach_to_status_icon: assertion `status_icon == NULL || GTK_IS_STATUS_ICON(status_icon)' failed

Comment 1 David Woodhouse 2009-10-15 18:06:43 UTC
Updating to gmpc 0.19.0 fixes this.

Although I can't build either 0.18.0 or 0.19.0 on F-12; I had to build it on F-11.

Comment 2 Yovko Ilchev Yovkov 2009-10-25 16:42:12 UTC
There is some issues with 0.19.1 compilation. I think it is good idea to create separate packages for gmpc and its plugins.

0.19.1 is building on F-12, but should exclude plugins.

Regards!

Comment 3 Adrian Reber 2009-10-25 18:43:18 UTC
I will update to 0.19.1 once F12 has been released. gmpc needs a new libmpd and that requires a rebuild of at least five dependencies. So close to the release of F12 is not the right time for so many changes.

Comment 4 Yovko Ilchev Yovkov 2009-10-25 19:02:21 UTC
I am Agree Adrian! It is not right time to change to new version.
But at least the issue with notification icon should be resolved.

Comment 5 David Woodhouse 2009-10-26 06:58:23 UTC
There are issues with rebuilding 0.18.0 on F-12 too.

Comment 6 Bug Zapper 2009-11-16 13:25:47 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle.
Changing version to '12'.

Comment 7 Jonathan Dieter 2010-01-09 20:22:03 UTC
I see you've managed to build 0.19 for Rawhide. Any chance of pushing it to F12 so we can get this fixed?
