Description Michael Rudel 2009-10-15 21:31:35 UTC
there is no way to provide a reasonable timesync on install. if your time is off your SSL certs fail for rhn registration. rdate is in the anaconda busybox but you can't call it reliably before the RHN stuff runs in chroot.

before the rhn register stuff runs, ntp is now available and there should be an option in the default ks scripts to NTP before registering. you've just used spacewalk so you obviously have a network connection at this point.

Please be more specific about the exact behaviour that you'd expect. Ideally, use the standard New bugzilla template, or put a wiki page to fedorahosted.org and link it from https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki/BrainBox.

Thank you.

Also, amending the Component as this is a provisioning, not installation issue.
