Description Christer Edwards 2009-10-16 18:08:06 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090909 Fedora/3.5.3-1.fc11 Firefox/3.5.3

The mrepo package from the epel repository requires http. Allowing for alternate webservers to satisfy that dependency would be preferred.

ie; I prefer lighttpd, which I have installed and configured, but I still need httpd installed to satisfy the dependency.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install lighttpd
2. install mrepo
3. httpd is installed as dependency

Expected Results:
lighttpd (or other alternate webserver) would satisfy the webserver dependency

Comment 1 Susi Lehtola 2009-10-17 08:52:34 UTC
Can you verify that mrepo works with other http servers, too?

Comment 2 Christer Edwards 2009-10-17 15:10:03 UTC
We are using mrepo as part of our deployment system and are currently using lighttpd. I have not tested with nginx, but I can verify that it works with lighttpd.
