Description Jens Petersen 2009-10-30 06:00:35 UTC
Description of problem:
Some people just want to access IRC.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
empathy-2.28.1.1-2.fc12

How reproducible:
every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot F12 Live
2. start empathy to go to freenode
3. try to configure for irc

Actual results:
2. new user wizard appears
3. IRC is not offered

Expected results:
3. IRC to appear in list of IM types

Additional info:
Skipping wizard setup and going to Accounts preferences
to add a new account is a workaround but this is confusing
and inconsistent.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle.

Thank you for the bug report. Just tested on Fedora-12-i686-Live.iso, the issue seems to be resolved during the Fedora 12 development cycle.
Please feel free to report any further bugs you find, or make further reports if this bug is not fixed after you install the update.
