There's two bugs here. One is the lack of fixup for HDTV interlaced modes in the EDID parser, the other is that the intel driver just refuses interlaced modes point-blank. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle. Changing version to '12'. More information and reason for this action is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping #4: should i get them filed seperately? the question from 3 months ago remains.... especially since i have the same problem with ati open source driver and hd4650 on rawhide. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 13 development cycle. Changing version to '13'. More information and reason for this action is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping still a problem in rawhide. while the ps3 detects my lcd successfully as 1080p capable linux (intel / ati) doesent yet. more info required? This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 14 development cycle. Changing version to '14'. More information and reason for this action is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping Is this still a problem? Oughtn't be. Should be fixed as of 61e57a8d72f2336faf39b5d940215cf085e01e6e; not sure what all stable branches that made it to though. OK, this will be fixed in f14, since that patch went in 2.6.35. |
