Cool, if you put a real EDID header on the front of that, it checksums correctly. Seems reasonable to get the EDID parser to fix that up. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle. Changing version to '12'. More information and reason for this action is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping Should be fixed in kernel-2.6.31.6-134 and later. kernel-2.6.31.6-134.fc12 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 12. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/kernel-2.6.31.6-134.fc12 Nice, with kernel-2.6.31.6-134.fc12 resolution with this old Sun monitor is now 1280x1024, without the fix it was only 800x600. kernel-2.6.31.6-145.fc12 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 12. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/kernel-2.6.31.6-145.fc12 kernel-2.6.31.6-145.fc12 has been pushed to the Fedora 12 stable repository.
