when a time slice from the event data bar is selected, a request needs to go back to the server to retrieve the events for that width of time.  the events need to be tab-separated by priority.

rev2332 -  re-implement event detail collapse panel;
expand clickable area for showing event details for the given context; 
move event details panel below the event time line;
