Description Joao Paulo Viragine 2009-05-12 19:26:00 UTC
It would be nice if we could set the session timeout per user. (like the options we have for Page refresh period -> 'Administration/Security/Users/My Preferences' )

Comment 1 Joao Paulo Viragine 2009-05-12 23:44:43 UTC
Notice that 'Page refresh period' may cause that session expiration never happens.

Comment 2 John Mazzitelli 2009-05-12 23:54:13 UTC

That is actually on purpose :)

We had some customers that want to leave their browser open for very long periods of time on pages that auto-refresh and they never wanted the session to expire. This was how they can do that.

Comment 3 Joao Paulo Viragine 2009-05-13 00:03:21 UTC
I think that if the user defines a session timeout, the 'Page refresh period' may be disabled.

Hi,

In RHQ 4.4 there is no setting for session timeout per user or Page refresh period.

We need this because we put RHQ dashboard on wall screens and we don't want to be logged out.

Regards,
Vlad
