Description Ryan Rix 2009-11-11 22:57:15 UTC
Description of problem:
Improper use of Name entry in gnome-ekiga.desktop. Ekiga's spec file contains
desktop-file-install --copy-generic-name-to-name \
which of course nukes the sane "Ekiga Smartphone" with the string "IP Telephony, VoIP and Video Conferencing"

This breaks KDE's listing of it in menus and in the runner, and will also be breaking it in gnome-shell since it is also relying on the proper use of Name now. Please remove this from the spec.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.2.6-1.fc12

See also historical bug #293831 on pretty much the same issue.

Comment 3 Peter Robinson 2010-05-30 08:20:14 UTC
I've fixed this in CVS. There's a new 3.2.7 release of ekiga due any day now so it will be fixed in all current releases as soon as that is out in the next day or so.
