Isn't the geshi code bundled in the tarball actually a separate upstream project?  http://qbnz.com/highlighter/

The "Downloads" link from http://qbnz.com/highlighter/ goes to the same sf.net page that is linked to from the extension's wiki page, so they're the same upstream. (The Fedora copy one is just a little old. Should I bug the php-geshi maintainer?)

I would recommend somebody else attempt to submit this package as I have zero spare cycles.
