This bug has been copied from bug #518575 and has been proposed
to be backported to 5.4 z-stream (EUS).

Fixed. I waited on the errata, so I can push this out with 538463.  It will get pushed today.

I couldn't get the reproducer to fail -- but I think it's a bit of expected, as is supposed co work occassionaly.

I verified that the correct patch is included and that it looks sane.
